We are delighted to have achieved recognition by several independent educational bodies.
The quality of our teaching is regularly assessed to ensure that we meet international standards that govern how world-class schools provide their academic and administrative services.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
GIS is proud to be one of a small handful of schools in Dubai that is fully accredited to offer all four International Baccalaureate Programmes. These are the:
- Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- Diploma Programme (DP)
- Career-Related Programme (CP)
Council of International Schools (CIS)
We are pleased to have been granted International Accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS). This mark of recognition is held only by schools around the world that meet the high CIS standards in international education.
The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
Our accreditation by NEASC supports the application journey for our students to a range of universities and colleges throughout the USA.
BTEC
As an accredited BTEC provider, we can offer access to high-quality, career-focused qualifications that are grounded in the real world of work. Our BTEC learners are encouraged to develop and apply the knowledge, skills and behaviours demanded by employers and universities. (https://qualifications.pearson.com/en/about-us/qualification-brands/btec.html) Among our career-related programmes is the International Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business and Sport, which includes opportunities for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students to gain valuable work experience.
Knowledge and Human Development Authority
We are inspected each year by the KHDA’s Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB), which is responsible for the growth, direction and quality of private education and learning in Dubai.
